The Story and Spirit of this Song

So This is Love came to life in the most unexpected way. After recording several songs with Aurora for her album, we were so full of enthusiasm that we forgot to pace ourselves. Baby Aurora, just over a month old, was completely drained by the time we finished the last song, Joyride, and she fell asleep in my arms. As she nestled close, the melody of So This is Love popped into my head—and luckily, I was still recording. What emerged was a Dragon Song lullaby, sung in Light Language, with the melody inspired by So This is Love. In the moment it was truly a mother’s gentle lullaby, comforting Aurora and the other baby dragons present.
